01How do credits work?
Each API request consumes credits based on the tool complexity. Basic tools like fetch_url cost 1 credit, while advanced tools like deep_research cost 10 credits. You can see the full pricing breakdown in the API Credits Table below.
02Do unused credits roll over?
Yes! On paid plans, all unused credits roll over to the next month and never expire while your subscription is active — you never lose credits you've paid for. The Free plan's 1,000 credits are a one-time allowance and do not refill.
03Is there a discount for yearly billing?
Yes. Yearly plans cost the same as 10 months of monthly billing — two months free (16.7% off). Hobby is $190/year, Professional $990/year and Business $3,990/year. A yearly plan receives its full year of credits when it starts and at each renewal, and unused credits roll over while the subscription is active.
04Can I change plans anytime?
Absolutely! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing period. When downgrading, your new rate applies at the next billing cycle. Yearly plans can move up to a bigger plan at any time; switching to monthly billing or to a smaller plan takes effect at renewal.
05Can I get a refund?
Yes, while the current billing period is unused. If you haven't spent any credits since your plan was billed — this month on a monthly plan, or this year on a yearly plan — cancelling from your dashboard refunds that payment in full, and the credits it granted are removed. Once you've used credits in the period, that payment is non-refundable: you can still cancel at the end of the period and keep using your credits until then, or cancel immediately. One-time credit packs are never refundable. For anything else, contact support.
06What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and debit cards through our secure payment processor, Stripe. All payments are encrypted and PCI-compliant.
07Is there a free trial?
Yes! Our Free plan gives you 1,000 credits to explore all 31 tools with no credit card required. The 1,000 credits are a one-time allowance and do not refill, so it's the perfect way to test CrawlForge MCP before committing to a paid plan.
08What happens when I run out of credits?
You can buy a one-time credit pack (from $3 for 1,000 credits) in your dashboard, or upgrade to a plan with a bigger monthly allocation. Paid plan users can also enable auto-recharge to automatically top up when their balance drops below a threshold. Free tier credits are a one-time allowance and do not refill.
09Do hosted monitors cost extra?
No. A monitor has no fee of its own. Each scheduled check bills the track_changes price, 3 credits, once per target it fetched and compared; a target that could not be fetched, was blocked by a bot wall or was refused by robots.txt is not charged. The dashboard shows an estimate of the monthly credits before you save a monitor.
